Woodhaven cabin is a perfect space for large groups and family get togethers. There are 4 bedrooms, including 2 Kings, 1 queen room, a bunkroom with 2 sets of bunk beds and a queen sleeper sofa in the downstairs entertainment room - all with memory foam mattresses. Room for all: the 3-story cabin has room for everyone to spread out and enjoy activities from the open living dining space and spacious kitchen on the main floor, to the upstairs master suite, loft and workspace, to the lower level entertainment room with pool table, giant sofa and massive 85" tv with sound bar. Kitchen: if you like to cook, you'll love this kitchen! It is fully stocked with service for 16, sharp knives, cookware and baking necessities, assorted stemware, small appliances, a well stocked pantry , kitchen staples, and a coffee and tea bar with multiple options: coffee maker, pour over, Chemex, electric kettle, coffee bean grinder. Coffee beans and assorted teas. Outdoor spaces: Our large deck wraps around 3 sides of the cabin, providing ample space for outdoor dining and grilling, roasting marshmallows around the gas fire pit, and several spaces for lounging on the deck overlooking the yard. There's no better place to observe the local wildlife. The lower level houses the 6-person hot tub and additional seating on the lower patio. Amenities: the house is equipped with two HVAC systems to keep you comfortable year-round. You'll find smart tvs in the master suite, main level living room and the massive 85" tv in the lower level entertainment room which also houses the pool table and poker table. French doors open from the entertainment room to the lower level patio and hot tub. You'll find board games, puzzles and books for all ages throughout the cabin to keep everyone entertained. Rumbling Bald Guest Passes: our guests receive 10 Rumbling Bald Guest passes which provide free access to Rumbling Bald's many activities including the private beach and cabana, boat launch, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts, indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, mini golf, salon, spa, golf and restaurants. Some activities have additional fees, such as golf, kayak, paddle board rentals and mini-golf. Be sure to check the Rumbling Bald website for current activity and rental fees. Parking: you'll have access to the 2-car garage and there is space for 3 additional vehicles in the driveway and turnout.
Other Details to Note
Our woods have an abundance of wildlife. You'll probably see deer, squirrels, raccoons, chipmunks and even flying squirrels. You might even see a bear. They DO come through this area. Do NOT leave any food or drinks outdoors unattended as it will attract bears. Overly curious bears have been known to come onto residential properties if food is left out which is dangerous for you and for the bear. They like a dip in the hot tub, too, so be sure to keep the lid closed and latched when not in use!

Quiet residential neighborhood in the woods surrounding Lake Lure. We are on 3/4 of an acre, in a cul-de-sac, with neighbors on both sides who have similar sized lots. Peaceful, tranquil, wooded.
Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire cabin and garage, with the exception of two locked owner's closets. Please note there are steps leading up to the house from the driveway, and this is a 3-story cabin with stairs to the upper and lower levels.

You are a short 4-5 minute drive to both Apple Valley and Bald Mountain golf courses and all of the exclusive members-only amenities at Rumbling Bald, including the private beach, tennis and pickle ball courts, clubhouse, mini-golf, basketball courts and pools. There is a large Ingles Grocery store 15 minutes away with deli and meat counters, hot dishes, Starbuck's, pharmacy and gas station. There are numerous restaurants in the area. You also have access to the restaurants inside Rumbling Bald resort.
